Recently, a collection of old family photos, letters, and assorted papers was mistakenly sold. These are photos and papers of the family of Elbert Alanson Sisson (1851-1915) (descendant of Richard and Mary Sisson of Rhode Island) and his son Frederick James Sisson (1879-1949) and Frederick's wife Grace McCormick Sisson (1886-1958) and others in the family. It would be nice if these photos and papers could be retrieved. I will keep a watch out for them on ebay. If you see these for sale in an antique shop, please notify the list, and if you can buy them there, let me know and I'll reimburse you.
