Stewart and Laura Robert and Amye Sisson are my direct line. As far as photographs/portraits of this line, there's not much out there. My 5th generation grandfather Robert Townsend and Arminta (Boswell) Sisson had 8-children: John, Sally, William, Matthew, Maria, Robert, Harriet and Anna with one adoption (guardianship) of a nephew, John B. At least we have a physical description of Robert Townsend, "about 5 foot 11 inches in height, deep blue eyes and black hair & dark complexion" from his draft and pension papers.
