    2. Recently I learned the husband of a Sisson descendant has passed away. I never met this man but, I am related to his wife and because of her I was able to continue my research of my Sisson Line. Sincerely I wish to express my heartfelt condolence to her and her family. West Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Mr. James B. "Jim" Watts, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00AM Saturday June 24, 2006 at McGuire United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Michi Head officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Watts was born on July 1, 1927 in Monroe, LA and died on June 21, 2006 in West Monroe, LA. Jim was raised in Monroe, LA and attended Ouachita Parish High School. He served in the US Navy as an enlisted man in the Second World War and in the US Navy as an officer aboard the USS Hanna during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Louisiana State University and was employed by the Social Security Administration for thirty years before retiring in 1983. Jim was a member of McGuire United Methodist Church and worked tirelessly for his church family. He enjoyed traveling, boating and volunteering. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Watts and Martha Blackmon Watts and a sister, Johnnie Mae Cobb all of Monroe, LA. Survivors include his wife, Jane Sisson Watts; his twin sons, Randy Watts and wife Elizabeth of Delhi, LA and Ray Watts and wife Fiona of Birmingham, AL; a sister, Effie Presnell of West Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Randy Watts, Jr. and his wife Jaclyn of Gardendale, AL, Aaron and Heather Watts of Birmingham, AL, and Camille Watts of Delhi, LA; two great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Aiden Watts of Gardendale, AL. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Presnall, George Booth, Jr., Troy Booth, Greg Hearne, David Moore and Scotty Gwin. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Mason Sunday School Class and Wednesday Night Share Group of McGuire United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, June 23, 2006 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Friends may also visit with the family from 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Saturday, June 24 at McGuire United Methodist Church in West Monroe, LA. The family extends special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of Glenwood Regional Medical Center for their comfort and concern in Mr. Watt's final days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the McGuire United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1200 Arkansas Road, West Monroe, LA 71291.
