    1. [SISSON-L] True stories about one of my teachers:
    2. My dad , Ernest T. Sisson, a teacher, was in the superintendent's office, when an elderly teacher came in and approached the superintendent and said Mr._______, you need to get down to room 101, the kids are tearing that room apart. The superintendent's face turned red after he looked to see, who the teacher was that was responsible for that class, he turned to the elderly teacher and said, Mrs.________, that is your class. I do know the names that fit into that story, I am just not sure, if it is proper to name them. Another story, Mrs. _______ rode home every day with another teacher, as she was to old to dreive. She was about 80 or 81 years old. There were three cars parked together. The one that she needed to be in was a station wagon, the other two were not. She was in the wrong car. I said Mrs._______, you are in the wrong car, she said thank you and got out and got into another car, which still wasn't the right car. I couldn't get up the nerve to tell her that she was still in the wrong car. I am sure that she thought that I had tricked her, but I didn't. These two things happened around 1961. Larry L. Sisson
