Forwarded from Ed: -----Original Message----- From: Ed Mason [mailto:[email protected]] To: [email protected] Subject: Patricia Marguerite Sisson My uncle was born William Brooks Sisson in Cincinnati in 1896. Sometime later his middle name was changed to Mitchell. He was married three times and died in 1975. His first, very brief, marriage was in 1919 to a Hedwig Laurie Becker ("Hattie") of Hudson, Wisconsin. This is just over Minnesota state line and only 40 or so miles from Minneapolis where my uncle grew up. The marriage produced one child, Patricia Marguerite Sisson, born November 27, 1918 in Hudson. I never heard about this first cousin during the lifetimes of my uncle and his sister, my mother. In about 1990 I discovered Patricia Marguerite Sisson in the family Bible. Later, on a trip to Minneapolis, I drove over to Hudson and obtained a copy of her birth certificate. Additional searching under her maiden name came up empty. The people in Hudson told me that that marriage records look-ups in Wisconsin require the name of the groom. That has put my efforts on hold. Does anyone have a clue as to this person's whereabouts or suggestions on how to proceed with additional research? Ed Mason
