I have a little more information on William Sisson who was living in Mississippi as early as 1812. William married Anna Fullwood Norris Fogle on Jan 18, 1819. Anna died in 1829 and is buried in the Dent Cemetery. According to the census for 1820.There is one female age over forty-five and two males between 10-16 and two males between 26 and 45. I am placing William at approximately 45 because of Anna age at death in 1829 was 55. This who have this William born about 1775. The others listed in the household are believed to be the children of Thomas Lane Norris, Anna's first husband. She did not have children with George Fogle. So none of these children I presume to be Williams. William is not present in 1830. The oldest living Sisson in 1830 is Eldridge age 60 - 70. But this does explain why the Sisson's and Norris families were found living next to each other for over 40 years. Janice
