Hi Ed, I've found the following Jacob Sissons: 1. Jacob Sisson b. March 2, 1879 in Lithgow, NY in the WWI Civilian Draft Registrations. He registered in Monroe Co., FL. 2. Jacob A. Sisson, enlisted in the Civil War (Union Army) from NY on Aug. 3, 1862. Enlisted as a Private on 03 August 1862 at the age of 31 Enlisted in Company G, 115th Infantry Regiment, NY on Aug. 18, 1862. He was taken as a POW on Sept. 15, 1862 at Harper's Ferry, VA. Paroled on Sept. 16, 1862 at Harper's Ferry, VA Promoted to Full Corporal on 04 April 1865. Mustered out of Co. G, 115th Infantry Regiment NY on June 17, 1865 in Raleigh, NC. 3. Jacob A. Sisson from the Civil War Pension Index who filed in NY with a wife by the name of Mary a. Sisson.
