    3. Lawson SissonThere is one Peter Sisson listed in the War of 1812 Records I have access to, but that's no indication that there couldn't have been more and they're just not listed. Anyway, here is the listing for Peter Sisson in the War of 1812. Cathy Peter Sisson 157 Regiment (Westcot's) NY Militia Inducted and discharged as a Private As for Lawson Sisson (War of 1812): Lawson Sisson 4 Regiment (Pogue's) Kentucky Volunteers Inducted and discharged as a Private ----- Original Message ----- From: Ed Mason To: Cathy Sisson Cc: Regehr, Carol Sent: Thursday, October 09, 2003 2:16 PM Subject: Lawson Sisson Carol, Thank you for the great job that you are doing gathering data on the Sisson war vets. I have been watching them but may have missed one that I am looking for. Have you encountered a Peter Rudd Sisson from Kentucky, possibly Ohio, in the Civil War records? If you did, I missed it. Peter was one of Lawson Sisson's four sons. He was born in 1838 and died in 1864, but I have no confirmation that his death was caused by the war, nor, if it was, which side he was on. I am following your advise and requesting a NATF form 85 to inquire further about Lawson's record in the War of 1812. Ed
