I looked for just a few minutes on Ancestry.com to see what I could find on this family. Edward Allan Sisson is listed on page 699 in the Sisson Book. His father George Hamilton Sisson is on page 585. Edward's grandfather Allan or Allen Sisson is on page 417. It appears that the male line on this family has died out if Edward's brother Charles Hamilton Sisson had no issue as the Sisson Book suggest. I will look and see if I can find anything on him and report it if I do. NY NY The Sisson book list his DOB as Feb. 5, 1844, but I would think that this is the same George H.
