    1. [SISSON] Just wondering...
    2. If anyone has information going back to the Sissons in France. I found info that says: The name "Sisson" is probably derived from Soissans, a province of France. Doubtless the progenitors of the English descendants of the name came to Britain with William of Normandy. In the poll tax returns of Howdenshire (Yorkshire) for the year 1379 these names are found: Johannes Sisson, Robertus Cission, Henricus Sisson, Thomas Cyson and William Cisson.
