John Wesley Sisson moved with his parents from Botetourt Co., Virginia. to Jefferson County Kentucky in the fall of 1820. In 1837 he moved to Macoupin Illinois on a farm. In March of 1850 he moved with his wife, children mother and sisters on a farm near Otterville Jersey County, Illinois where he died.
