I assume this is Alexander Son of Preserved Sisson. Alexander SISSON was born 7 Dec 1785. He died 7 Dec 1812. R. 59) to extend the provisions of the homestead act to the orphan children of deceased soldiers who are under the age of twenty-one years, was read the first and second times, by unanimous consent, and referrred to the Committee on Public Lands. Mr. Anthony presented the petition of soldiers and sailors in the war of 1812, praying that pensions be granted to the surviving soldiers and sailors in said war. Ordered, That it lie on the table. Mr. Conkling presented the petition of Matilda Sisson Conkling, daughter of Alexander Sisson, sailing-master in the United States navy, on the ship Madison, during the war of 1812, praying to be allowed a pension; which was referred to the Committee on Naval Affairs.
