I have been trying to piece together my mother¹s family genealogy. My maternal grandmother was Ethel Newton Sisson, one of four daughters of Harvey and Mary Sisson of Harwich, Massachusetts (see excerpt from the Sisson genealogy site below). My understanding is that Harvey Handy Sisson Jr. was a descendant of Richard and Mary Sisson of Rhode Island. The information on the Sisson site seems to confirm this. Is there a published Sisson family genealogy with information on my branch of the Sisson family? The Lovelands, my mother¹s maiden name, are well documented in New England from the mid 1630s, but I have little information on the Sisson branch of my mother¹s family beyond what I¹ve seen on the Sisson site. Harvey Handy Sisson, Jr. was a railroad employee and then a farmer in West Harwich. Harvey married Mary A. NICHOLSON, daughter of Malcolm NICHOLSON and Sarah S. MCINNES, on 16 Nov 1893 in Harwich, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Mary was born about 1869 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
