    3. Hello all Thank you all for your wonderful emails, I really enjoy reading them!! Anyway, I have some names that may be of some use, ( I have tried doing some research on the OneGreatFamily web page, but I have a mac. and can't download the browser to get the info that I need that may be of any help.) I have managed to recover a few names from my Grandfathers family, which may or may not be of use, His name was Cyril Sisson born 1910, he had a brother Percy Sisson, and three sisters, Gladys, Mabel or Mable ? and Patricia. His brother Percy ended up living in Jersey (channel Islands), with no descendents. My Grandfathers fathers name was John William Sisson, (died 1916) his wife Sarah (maiden name Dent I believe) He was a farmer/auctioneer in Temple Sowerby/Appleby District. Apparently, some of the earlier members of the family were Laywers. My Grandfather had a son, from a previous marriage, who would be the only direct descendent from him that is male, his name is Michael Sisson, who lived or lives in London, should probably be about 70 years old or so, and worked for Ford Motors. We are not sure if he had any children but are working on finding that out. I may be able to get some more names towards the end of the week that may be of some help!! I have an Aunt who is in touch with some of the Temple Sowerby Sisson's, I am awaiting an email from her as she has more information on family names , cousins in the UK etc....... Thanks again for your wonderful replies! Sarah

    3. http://www.spatial-literacy.org/index.php?p=familyname Hi all Above is a link which takes you to the spatial-literacy website, which has a surname search facility. I would try it in a few days as it has just been published in The Times, and consequently is experiencing traffic problems right now.
