I am not sure what to make of that reference. It seems to me that if Richard had been Secretary of the Colony of Massachusetts, that somewhere that Mary's maiden name would have been mentioned. Also, if he had held that tiltle, it seems strange that he would have chosed to live where he did. Anyway it was interesting, I am just not sure if it is acurate. Larry L. Sisson
