This gives me a lot clues for connecting Ada Sipes (and the French family) with our family. Yes, I'm a direct descendant of Jacob Seif II. He is my great-great grandfather. Jacob Seif II --Solomon Seif ----Charles Q. Seif ------Lawrence Milo Seif --------Wilma Jean Seif How about you? Are you related to Jacob II in some way? Are you familiar with the Seif Family genealogy book? My great grandfather (Solomon Seif) married Margaret Ann Sipes (11 July 1865). They named one of their sons (my grandfather) Charles Queal Seif, and I'm also trying to find the Seif or Sipes connection to the Queals who are also connected to the French family. I believe Margaret Ann Sipes had a brother who was Atchison Queal Sipes. I have also found a man named Atchison Queal who married Lucy French. Then, I have Ada Sipes who married Chauncey French. I believe all of the families (Seif, Sipes, Queal, and French) were living in Morrow County at the same time. Oh, what a tangled web it is! But, isn't it fun to sort it all out! Thanks, again! Wilma
