WILL The name of God Amen I Jacob Sipes of the Township of Licking Creek and County of Fulton, in the State of Pennsylvania, being in possession of sound mind, do hereby make and ordain this my last will an testament, this fourth (4th) day of February, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy (1870) First In hope of a blessed immortality…I commend my soul into the hands of the Lord Jesus and direct that my body, be decently buried. Secondly I will and bequeath to my wife Susana (The amount of articles and privileges mentioned in an Article of Agreement made by me and her on the 25th day of March, 1868 prior to our union in Marriage) Forty (40 Dollars annually and the small house that Mason L. Sipes at present occupies) with that part of the garden that we now use and to have part of the spring house and smoke house and firewood.
