The Sink name was originally Zincke from Germany. Many members of this family immigrated in colonial days. Calvin Kephart had several articles in the "National Gen. Soc. Quarterly" in 1929 and 1935 dealing with the ancestry of Pres. Herbert Hoover. Check with a good gen. library and you should be able to get copies of these articles.
