Sarah Ann (Atteberry) B. Jan. 27 1847 in Wayne was the last of the 6 children of John Warren and Mary Ann Atteberry. Sarah Ann was the only children that remained with Mary Ann after her divorce from John Warren. Mary Ann died in 1869 so that is why you can't find any more info about her after that. Do you think that the Indian part of your heritage comes from the Sinks side of the family or from Mary Ann's family? I don't understand why Mary Ann was buried under the name of Hall. I live in Idaho so I am not close to Illinois to research info. The Fairfield Public Library in Wayne County (618)842-4516 gave me some info about the Halls and Atteberry families. Did James Sinks fight for the Confederacy or for the Union? I wonder who cared for Elisabeth b. 1853 and Ellen b.1857 Sinks after their father died in 1865 and then their mother in 1869.
