Sinks, 82, Cunningham, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Glyndia Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Rye's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 till 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. till the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 13, 1924, in Montgomery County, daughter of Oliver C. Groves and Mabry Harper Groves which precedes her in death. She was a member of Rye's Chapel United Methodist Church. She worked over 20 years for BF Goodrich. She is survived by her husband Thurman Sinks of Cunningham; one daughter, Lynda Goetzka of S.C.; one brother, O.C. Groves of Cunningham; three sisters, Rebecca Roland and Mildred Livingston, both of Clarksville, and June Wall of Southside; two grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel Goetzka. Pallbearers will be Bob Perry, Mike Morefield, Nathan Morefield, Burney Wall, Carl Wall, Benton Jackson, Eddie Sinks and Bryant Jackson. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to Rye's Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Dorothy Groves 224 Grays Capel Road, Cunningham, TN 37052 Arrangements entrusted to Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home, 335 Franklin St., Clarksville, TN.
