A Peter Sinks who died in Hamilton Co., IL served in the War of 1812 from Pittsylvania Co. I descend from Salem Sinks, who is buried at West Frankfort in Franklin Co. His grandfather, Jacob, resided in Hampshire Co., VA (now WVA)from the 1760s until the lat 1780's and then moved to what is now Pendleton Co., KY.
