He was born February 28, 1828 and died on December 18, 1892. He was first married to Hannah B. Bradley (b.3/21/1824, d. 4/8/1857). They had three children: Mary Rice Sinkes, Sealy Jane Sinkes, and William Daniel Sinkes. Following Hannah's death, John married Nancy A. Roales. I'd really like to find John Emanuel's parents. Information on Hannah B. Bradley would also be appreciated. My grandfather seemed to think that the Sinkes family came from Scotland or Sweden.
