The buys of the estate of William Hankins May 7, 1824 included only two women, Wilmoth Hankins who was widow of the dec'd and Martha Sinks. I had mentioned the the dec'd and his father were in the Rev War. Other buyers of the property who appear to be same men listed in "Twenty-For Hundred Tennesse Pensioners Revolution, War of 1812" by Zella Armstrong. James Fentress 1832 age 70 served in NC, drew pension in Montgomery Co Tn. also still alive on 1840 census. John Daniel 1840 age 54 drew pension War of 1812 Dickson Co. Tn served under Williams militia reg't. John Adams 1832 age 75 on Montgomry Co Tn list, born in Tn served on the Va line drew pension. John Stewart 1840 age 83 drew pension in McNairy Co Tn. Richard Boyse I found nothing on but think he went to Marion Co Mo and was adminitrator for estate of Sarrett which I can't now find the paper, no military record. Bryan Latham 1860 age 67 born NC on Dickson Co Tn census, no military record found. At Guntenberg.org search "revolution" and good books will come up. One of them was a detailed genealogy of the men in the Rev War out in NC. I can't now find the book, but I had mentioned Sam Hillis of the Rev War and he wasn't in that book but was enlisted in Salisbury Rowan Co NC. His relatives kept good records of his info in the family. Sam Hillis and Powell Sinks both had decendants that ended up in Butler Co Mo....samll world.
