Thence running on Salter's line by a row of trees N 26 degrees West 140 perch to a stone corner of Joseph Elwell's land, in right of his wife Sarah. Thence by same S 68 degrees W 180 perch to a stone in road, corner of Ephram Carl's land. Thence bounding on same S 12 degrees W 1 perch to a white oak stump. Thence still by same land S 39 degrees E 124 perch to a white oak marked for a corner standing by edge of the aforesaid Mill Pond on Bruce's Branch Thence down edge of pond bounding on the several courses of the water, to the corner first named. Containing 78 acres strict measure Being the same land devised to her, the said Rachel Simkins by John Briggs, her father, by his last will and testament dated 20 June 1795 signed and sealed Ananias Simpkins, X his mark Rachel Simkins witnesses; William Bradway, Jr. Ebenezer Davis Rec.
