Goddards lived in Maryland before they came to southern Virginia (later WV). Louvenia (also spelled Lavinia, Lovinia) was a common family name. Louvenia Simpkins was born in Virginia. She and her husband lived in Fayette County, Sewell Mt. I'm a descendant of their son, William. William had a daughter named Louvenia, too. His daughter, America, was my great grandmother. She, too, had a daughter named Louvenia. What was your Louvenia's parents names? America once had a handwritten family tree, but it was destroyed when my grandmother developed Alzhiemer's.
