My wife is a descendant of Mary Sympkins (also spelled Simpkins) b: 1822 PA d: 1901 Tuscarawas, OH and her husband Gabriel Watson, Jr. Descendants of this couple are eligible to join the genealogical societies associated with the War of 1812, which is how I came to find Mary's name during my research.
