Have traced Charles SIMPKINS back to around 1750-1800, probably migrated up the Chesapeake Cay from Northampton, VA. to Somerset County, MD. Also from Somerset Land records, have a "Major" SIMPKINS around 1800. There also is an Ezekiel and Joshua SIMPKINS coming up the Bay (from VA) through Smith Island to Somerset/Wicomico and Dorchester Counties. Any one wanting to connect, shoot me an e-mail.
