Leonardson, passes away this afternoon at her home, 6 West Laurel avenue. The obituary and funeral time will be published Thursday. New Castle News, New Castle, Pennsylvania, Thursday, December 8, 1938 Mrs. Leonardson Funeral Time The body of Mrs. Margaret May Leonardson, aged 72 years, of 6 West Laurel avenue, has been removed to the Jos. Rice Co., chapel on East North street where friends may call at any time. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. William V. McLean, pastor of the First M. E. church, in charge. Internemt will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Youngstown, O. Tonght and Friday night from 7 to 9 o'clock the family will be at the chapel to receive friends. Mrs. Leonardson, who passes away at her home Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. was born in Youngstown, O., on February 1, 1866, daughter of David and Jennie Gilmore Simppkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Leonardson, on December 24, 1932. Survivinig are two sons; John C. of New Castle and David F., of Clairton; one granddaughter, Judith Ann of Clairton; one sister, Mrs. E. L. Powers of Youngstown and neice and two nephews. New Castle was her home for the past 46 years. She led an active, interested life, and won a great many friends. She was a member of the First M. E. church, a charter member of the New Castle chapter No. 105 O. E. S., a charter member of the Wimodausis, and a charter member of the Martha Shrine No. 14, White Shrine of Jerusalem. Mrs Leonardson was also first worthy high priestess of the Martha Shrine No. 14. Her death followed an illness of some length of time.
