Hi Bill: I had a look at your web page. Bill, have you ever come across a Simpkins family who owned Slaves in the US? We have a Benjamin Simpkins who was born c.1790 somewhere in the States. He entered Canada maybe around 1800 or so. We cannot find out where he was born and/or who his parents were. He was Black. If anything comes to mind, please contact me.
