Not to be confused with his cousin Giles also born Box. Giles 1848 was born to Giles Simpkins snr, they were living in Box 1851 then the family moved moved to Swindon. Next stop as far as we know was Melcombe Regis 1861 where Giles snr and jnr were. A sister Ann aged 4 was living in Box with her grandmother. Giles Jnr then disappears after 1861 we have been unable to trace him and wondered if there is anyone in Britian or aboard who may recognise this person. Did he emigrate or did he die we have not found any evidance so far. Sister Ann is in Devizes with step mother in 1871 and a younger brother Henry born 1865 in Devizes. This is the last we have found of Ann or Henry they too seem to have disappeared. Their father died in 1873. Hope someone out there can help. Perhaps Lucinda is his dtr? Some of the Simpkins went to Van Buren Co. Arkansas.
