Yes, my Shuman Geneaology book (by Jarrard, as referenced by Ansley in one email) shows John Rutherford Shuman (1829-1885 buried Olive Churchyard, Jefferson Co. FL), William Shuman, b. 1830 as children of William and Martha. The book shows Mary Ann Elizabeth Shuman as born in 1836, which would make her a child of William and Sarah. > The book shows John Rutherford marrying Nancy S. Platt 1836-1896, daughter of William and E. Platt and Sarah Wade and having children William, James Henry, and Rutherford Bartow "Cap" Shuman. >Yes, Rebecca and James B. were my ggrandparents. >Sheila > > > > > At 12:39 PM 11/25/1999 -0500, you wrote: >>ss, >>I think we are kin! >>Thank you for your info.
