Just found a mistake in what I have written here. Jacob Shuman was married to Margaret Hugg Shuman, not Elizabeth. I found the obituary for Margaret Shuman. It says that she was born southeast of Danville on the (looks like) Rileysburg Rd. It says her father, George Hugg, conducted a cooper (?) shop at Slabtown. The marriage date was right, Dec 24, 1869. It says that she was a member of the John Black Circle, the Ladies of the G.A.R for many years and a past president. She was a member of the Western Avenue Baptist Church.
