    3. One of our cousins sent the following information to me so thought I'd forward it on to see if it helps someone other than myself who is a descendant of Christian Shuman. It has a lot of great information. She advised me that she obtained this information from several sources. "Torchbearers of Freedom" by Amanda Elizabeth Fullenwider a two volume book, only 100 copies printed, is where she obtained the birth and death dates for George Shuman and it also listed Union Church Cemetery in Salisbury. The information on Barbara Shuman came from William Thomas Mitchell. She found it in the LDS Ancestral Files. Catharine Shuman was in an article by Paul Dillow in "The Saga of Southern Illinois". It is a quarterly publication of the genealogy society of Southern Illinois. Hope this helps someone. It certainly helped me out a great deal. Has anyone been able to find out who Christian Shuman's wife was as I still do not know who my GGGgrandmother was at the present time?
