I have no idea who my GGG grandmother might be - no name or when he was married and where. I'm told he was born in Germany prehaps he married there. Do you know when he came from Germany and on what ship? I received information on the Shuman query who his children were but no dates when they were born. It was posted on the query that Mary Marcella Shuman was believed to have been his sister - NOT his daughter. I will correct my information. Other children that were posted were: George (b) ? (d) 4-25-1800; Jacob (b) 1790 (d) November 7, 1843; John ?; Barbara ?; Catharina ?; and Sophia ?. I am related via his son Jacob. I do not know any other children that Jacob and Teny Earnheart had who were married 4-27-1815. I am related through one of their sons, James W. Shuman (b) 3-5-1823 (d) 4-28-1872. I, however, do not know where James W. Shuman is buried. If you need the names of their children, I will be happy to give you their names. Since Christian Shuman's will was probated in 1807 I assume this is when he died. Do you have any further information? I'm so glad that apparently so many people are searching this line. Prehaps with all of us, we'll be able to get the information that we all need. Should you have further information, please let me hear from you. Judi >I am also researching Christian Shuman.
