Hi everyone. I'm sure that you can tell already that I am new to the list. My query is very short and as everyone else, I hope that there is someone who can fit a few more pieces in. I am looking for a Jesse Shuman who had a sister (possibly) named Mary who was married to a Schoonover. Jesse was married to Mary E. Cox and I believe later divorced. They had a son named Philip. There is a 1847 court case document between David R. & mary Cox Porter (it may ahve been a dowry from the estate) against Philip Shuman, a minor and heir of Jesse. This all may have began in W. Virgina and ended up in Wayne Co., Ohio in the 1800's Hope someone can help me. Even so I would like to read your queries since I am new to your list. Please reply. CJ
