CJ, Thanks for your posting. I MAY be able to help a little bit, but not much. I've been working on an elusive part of the family for quite some time, and have established that Jacob SHUMAN, son of my ancestor John SHUMAN, b. abt 1805 in Monongalia Co, (W)VA, m. Mary KENDALL and purchased land in Wayne Twp, Monroe Co, OH in 1836. They had children Jesse and Mary. I have almost no other data on Jesse, but show a different husband for Mary. You might wish to contact a descendant of Mary: Jane Peters <jbp@earthspace.net> and see what else you can learn. Please share with us any connections you establish. JS >Hi everyone.
