    2. Chris, The library in Woodsfield , Ohio ,which is new and has the Monroe Chapter of OGS located in it. This Chapter has most of the Newspaper Excerpts in a published form, as follows. MONROE CHAPTER OGS BOX 641 WOODSFIELD, OH 43793. As headed FAMILY RESEARCH IN MONROE COUNTY, OHIO VOLUME ONE Printed in the Spirit of Democracy a weekly newspaper published continuously since 1844 at Woodsfield, Monroe County, Ohio. These columns were printed between June 29, 1967 and June 28, 1973 by Catherine Foreaker Fedorchak This was indexed and reprinted by the Monroe Chapter OGS addressed as above. I thought we had the two Jesses's straightened out. The one Jesse that is buried in the Moose Ridge Cemetery just outside of Woodfield, deceased on 15 July 1882 was the son of JACOB SHUMAN SON OF JOHN SHUMAN OF MINISTERS RUN. The other Shuman, I do not know for sure who he descends from. This Jesse never did marry. Now the Jesse father of Philip of Wetzel Co., Va was living in Tyler county when he got the land in Monroe county, from the US Government. I hope this helps. Bill Shuman PS If you staighten out Philips father let us know.
