Hello Donna! Because of the name, I am more than casually interested in your request. I went searching in my database, and came up with what MIGHT be the family, but it's not quite a "perfect fit," so let's see what others can add. I find that Levi SHUMAN, b. ca 1804-6 s/o Henry SHUMAN and Sarah Temple Kendall, m. Sarah (E) Kendall, d/o James Kendall and Catherine SHUMAN, b. ca 1805-8, m. 9 Apr 1825, had at least three children: James A, William, and Zilphia. I have no other data on that family, except that Catherine SHUMAN was d/o John SHUMAN, thought to be the brother of Henry SHUMAN. If so, that would make Levi and Sarah 1st cousins once removed. The parentage of Sarah Temple Kendall has not been identified, so I can't say how she might be related to James Kendall. Regards!
