Cousins, One of our new members asked for help on finding the Archives of past messages. I hadn't done it for a while, so had to hunt around a bit, myself, and thought maybe some of the rest of you would like to know what I found. Of course, you can go to the SHUMAN Resource Page located at http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/s/h/SHUMAN/ which contains a variety of search engines, all pre-set to search for "SHUMAN". However, most of these will give you only a few pieces of information at a time. I believe that generally we are interested in looking back through the Archives of this list, and so that's why I've included the following URL: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/SHUMAN-L/ This will take you to the Archives for 1999. You can simply click on the month that you want to view, and it will take you there. What you'll see on your screen is just the Subject line and name of person posting the message. Click on the subject line and you'll see the complete message. For older messages, the best I can find is to use the SHUMAN Resource Page, and near the bottom of it, just above "Classifieds," is a search box for "ISearch Search Engine for List Archives" at which you can select the year you wish to search. Insert the word SHUMAN-L in the Query space, and click on the Search button. Best wishes in your review of where we've been in the past 14 months!
