This 299 page book edited by Dr. Karl Storck and translated by Hannah Bryant was first published by Benjamin Blom, Inc. (London) in 1907. This copy is a 1971 re-issue. Born at Zwickau, in Savony on June 8, 1810, Schumann is the embodiment of the German romantic movement as artist and musician.
