Kathy jpyokiel@alltel.net My ancestor, Mary (Lupfer) SHUMAN and her family moved to Ohio following the death of her husband, Adam SHUMAN, in PA., about 1836. Moses SHUMAN, as far as I now know, is not part of that family. All that I know of Moses is that he came to Ohio between 1810 and 1820 (or he may have been born between those dates), and that he left a will, a copy of which I have in my files. If you wish, I can e-mail the text of that will to you, or you can order a certified copy from the Guernsey County Probate Court in Cambridge, OH. Can you be more specific as to the information you need? I only have his will in my file as a result of the early research on my family. I grabbed everything with the Shuman surname on it, then sorted it out later. I don't know if there is a connection to Moses, but there was also a Jonathon SHUMAN family in the same part of Ohio in the general time-frame of the first half of the 19th century, also not connected to my direct research. Let me know by direct e-mail if I can be of any help to your efforts. Bruce Shuman BAShuman @aol.com
