Hi there I am glad you are making progress. I have a great grandfather from Ireland that would have come to NY during the 1880's so That is where I would also need to look. Is there a website for Castle GArdenS? DO you know what someone did or where someone who came in 1848, and in 1827? I have two other ancestors coming to NY in those years.
