You are very welcome for the info. I definitely know what it is like to try and track down your ancestry. I have been forunate in having a lot of my information from news clippings, notes that my parents kept and the like. A distant cousin also gave me a lot of information on the Shewman (mine) lineage when he had researched his heritage. His name is Don Williams and although I have not heard from him in a long while, I do have copies of the family group sheets. That helps tremendously. My big problem now is trying to find out where Jacob's parents originated. My guess is Germany but that is only a guess at this time. Good luck on you searching. It does become time consuming but also proves very interesting, and I've met some very nice people on the net.
