Mike, I can't help you with your query, but I can say that yours gave me quite a shock. My grandfather was James Jacob Shuman and his father was married 3 times - but not to sisters. My father's name is Albert, named after an uncle. I wonder if our two lines are connected somehow. I don't know where the Albert originally came from in daddy's family.
