Some time back a question was raised about some Shumans in Madison Co., IN, near Alexandria. I knew I had some information jotted down, if I could just find my notes. I was able to find my notes, but then I was swamped at the office and wasn't able to type them in a readable form and share them. At the time I wrote these down, I didn't think these Shumans were connected to ours, since we live at the southwest part of the county and they were located in the northeast. <naive of me> But to keep from blundering into their names over and over again when I was looking through census indices, directories and lists of taxpayers, I wrote everything down -- much like using the vacuum sweeper on the floor.
