My SHUMAN ancestor, Jacob, was killed in Civil War. He volunteered from NY state, and died the day Lincoln was killed, in a WDC military hospital. I guess he is buried at Arlington, although I do't know. His widow, Sara, moved from NY to Wisconsin and raised her family there, including son Henry Edward Cruver SHUMAN, my ggf. -- Richard L.
