Pauline, I have not did much work on the Mayfield line, but Elizabeth was not the only Shuman to Mary a Mayfield. I just can not remember the other tie in at this time and I will advise when I do. Also my notes states that Elizabeths grandfather was Henry FLOYD a soldier in the Rev. War. That she is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Tyler county. Is this correct? That she lived most of her life near Elk fort near Conaway. If I have any thing you can use please advise. Joshuas Cemetery near Hagens is not easy to get into. The Shuman graveyard there is near where Shuman Heights used to be. Mr. Jim Yost took us in the back way in his pick up, otherwise we would still be climbing. I hope that I can help you and vice versa. Respectfully Yours, William E Shuman
