This suggestion has been appearing on several of the Discussion Groups to which I belong. I'm not sure who thought of it first, but it's a good idea, and worth passing along. The year 2000 is a Census Year: Most of the census will be taken by mail, so after you have filled in your census form, why not make a copy of it and file with your important papers? Then your family will not have to wait 72 years to learn about you.
