    1. [SHUMAN] Madison Co., IN Shumans -- Cemetery & Marriage lists
    2. Shuman, Lois A
    3. Some time back a question was raised about some Shumans in Madison Co., IN, near Alexandria. I knew I had some information jotted down, if I could just find my notes. I was able to find my notes, but then I was swamped at the office and wasn't able to type them in a readable form and share them. At the time I wrote these down, I didn't think these Shumans were connected to ours, since we live at the southwest part of the county and they were located in the northeast. <naive of me> But to keep from blundering into their names over and over again when I was looking through census indices, directories and lists of taxpayers, I wrote everything down -- much like using the vacuum sweeper on the floor. Here is what I've got written down. -- Lois Shuman - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - DEATHS IN MADISON CO, IN Shuman, Charles M W 13 May 28 1902 Anderson H-26 58 Shuman, Clara F W 1 mo Jan 23 1888 Alexandria - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CEMETERY RECORDS, MADISCON CO., IN -- UNION TWNSHP (Chesterfield) Otterbein United Brethren Cemetery (H-87) p. 528 SHUMAN A.V. 3. Have you tried the 1900, 1910, & 1920 census in the correct County for Nelson, PA? If you do not know the county, you should look that up. The location, not only by town, but county is extremely important. When you find the county you could put in a query on the PA Genweb for that county. She was always glad when friends came to visit her and will be sadly missed by those who loved her. Early in life she united with the C. P.
