My Granny Pool often mentioned having relatives living at Tisamingo in Oklhoma. I was born in Sherman, Grayson Co, Texas. George Shockey is listed in the 1870 and 1880 Tarrant Co, Texas census. A different George Shockey (the son of Elizabeth Shockey and probably a cousin who was born in Kentucky and in the 1850 census with his mom who will wed a Casber)is mentioned in the 1876 directory in Sherman, Texas as a marketman. our George's brother John is also in the Tarrent Co, Texas census of 1870 and then in Parker Co, Texas in 1880.
